The trip
Select visits rather than collecting them
A Loire Valley holiday can combine heritage, gardens and time in the region’s towns. The aim is not to visit the largest number of castles, but to choose places whose visitor experience matches your interests and access requirements. A well-chosen accommodation base can help keep daily journeys manageable.
Plan with YOOLA
Tell us which castles appeal most and whether you would like to combine the Loire Valley with Paris. Planning will take account of your arrival point, journeys, accommodation and requested equipment. The itinerary and services will be confirmed in a personalised proposal, subject to availability.
Are all floors of the castles accessible?
No. Routes vary between monuments and areas within them. The itinerary should specify which parts can actually be visited.
Can we combine Paris and the Loire Valley?
YOOLA can explore this with you, considering transfers, available time and suitable accommodation.

Castles: distinguish the areas you can visit
Chambord, Chenonceau, Blois or Amboise may be on your wish list. Each must be considered separately: access to a garden, courtyard or ground floor does not guarantee access to upper floors. A general admission route and a particular guided tour may also have different access conditions.
Gardens, towns and scenery
A castle’s grounds, time in a Loire town or a food-focused stop can complement monument visits. Paths, distances and places to rest need consideration. Alternating busier visits with gentler days leaves space to enjoy the holiday as a whole.
Accessibility
An itinerary suited to your wheelchair
Tell us about your wheelchair, transfer requirements and the length of visit that feels comfortable. For each stop, entrances, surfaces, toilets and the actual visitor areas need checking. If a route is limited, knowing before booking allows you to choose an alternative that genuinely interests you.
