The trip
Take time to enjoy Provence
Provence is also about simple moments: a lively square, a colourful market or scenery enjoyed along the way. Choose a manageable number of stops and allow time to rest. A stay based in Avignon will involve different arrangements from a trip covering several parts of Provence.
Build a suitable quotation
Share your dates, arrival point and priorities: culture, food, scenery or a combination. Tell us whether you prefer one accommodation base and whether you need assistance or equipment locally. YOOLA can then explore options and prepare a detailed proposal that reflects your own pace.
Is every Provençal village suitable for a wheelchair visit?
No. Conditions vary, so the itinerary should focus on places that work for your needs rather than a fixed list of stops.
Can we travel without driving ourselves?
Mention this at the enquiry stage. Required journeys and the availability of suitable chauffeur-driven transport can then be explored.

Avignon and its monuments
Avignon’s ramparts, squares and heritage provide a starting point for your plans. The Palais des Papes and Saint-Bénezet bridge require separate access checks: provision for one part of a monument does not mean the full visitor route is accessible. Tell us which visits matter to you so that appropriate arrangements can be explored.
Choose excursions carefully
The Luberon landscape and towns across Provence can add variety to your stay. A hilltop village may offer beautiful views without providing an easy wheelchair route through its centre. Drop-off points, slopes, surfaces and places to take a break should guide the choice of stops. A scenic outing may sometimes be preferable to a demanding walking tour.
Accessibility
Comfort throughout the day
A shorter outing, a return to your accommodation or lunch close to the next stop can make a difference. Explain your tolerance of heat, stamina and transfer assistance needs. Bedroom equipment and suitable transport must be confirmed for the services selected, rather than assumed from the destination alone.
